: By looking up profit center vs cost center, you can see this is an accounting concept. Business Unit and Profit Center are not synonyms, they're separate concepts.

Discussion
The term could very well refer to a Business Unit, as suggested by Ana. But you must find out if these "Centros de Resultado" are actually located in different addresses or if they are all internal units within the same headquartrers. In this last case, the translation would be something else.
