Spanish term
el sector fundacional
Spanish to English
Bus/Financial
Economics
Fact sheet concerning foundations and non-profit organisations in Spain
'El sector fundacional y el asociacionismo de utilidad pública.'
This is the main title of the text. I was thinking along the lines of 'the charitable sector' but didn't think this fitted with the rest of the sentence.

The foundation sector
Creo que se puede traducir de manera literal porque "foundation" y "fundación" se refiere en ambos idiomas a instituciones similares.
Example sentence:
The growth seen by the foundation sector is therefore enabled not only by increased prosperity but also by suitable and dependable conditions.

I don't think 'el sector' adds anything - you could just say 'Foundations and public-benefit associations'.
Here's the context:

If you open one of the lists of foundations, you'll see they cover such areas as sports, education and research.

Note from asker:
Doesn't the term 'el asociacionismo' refer specifically to the setting up of the associations???? |
