... it actually means the draft of the document shall be prepared at a notary office, in the presence of a notary and witnesses, so there will be an official draft that cannot be modified or amended thereafter until the date of execution/signature. It's a typical practice in Brazil, but I don't think you do that kind of thing in the US, since there is a lot more reliability among the parties there.
