Anyone know what "blandinjektion" is, please? The following (appropriate) example was taken from Google:

Thanks in advance.

Discussion

Helen Johnson (asker) Jan 16, 2017:
When texts are written in note form there's always room for misinterpretation. Sorry, can't view your link properly but never mind - there's no "orsaker" in my text so I think I can safely assume it's an injection to view what's there. Thanks for your opinions.
Tania McConaghy Jan 16, 2017:
I think the use of "orsaker" indicates this must be a condition, not a treatment.

Here's one use of "severe mixed injection"... but it's not current. https://www.karger.com/Article/Pdf/304552
I think there must be another term currently in use, although the Oxford ref is from the 2004 edition (ie this ref is recent). Perhaps you can use one of the explanatory terms used there. Sorry I don't have any other suggestions for the term.
Helen Johnson (asker) Jan 16, 2017:
Hi Tania and thanks, I'd already done that. Trouble is, text then goes on to mention it as though it's an actual condition (e.g. "kraftig"). Or do I assume a "kraftig" injection's been given to view what's going on?

mixed injection

not sure of there is another tem for this
injection here refers to increased blood in the small vessels of the eye

if you google "mixed injection eye" you should see a ref from the Oxford Handbook of Acute medicine with an explanation.

also some good diagrams here: http://www.janusinfo.se/Behandling/Expertradsutlatanden/Ogon...
Example sentence:

Mixed injection (conjunctival + ciliary) also occurs in uveitis.
