compteur en défalcation =>

défalcation = subtracting one amount from another

HERE it's about an additional meter that's installed downstream from the main meter;

"la défalcation" / "the subtraction" is done by reducing the reading of the main meter by taking away the reading from the "sub-meter" / "secondary meter"!

the tenant pays according to the reading of the "compteur en défalcation" i.e. his own secondary/sub-meter, and that amount is subtracted from the bill established from the reading of the main [landlord's?] meter.

Comme celà, il partagera les frais de l'eau qu'il utilise pour son entreprise .Je ne sais pas si ça existe ! pourriez vous m'aider et me renseigner, s'il vous plaît ??lmerci
