thanks, Lorena
neutral Joseph Tein : If Lorena says so, you're probably right! I think we would need more context from our asker to narrow it down.

agree José Patrício : Total protein content in salivary pools and salivary viscosity in patients with sialolithiasis were significantly higher than in the saliva of normal controls - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14608348

agree Mario Solis Burgos : allí donde desembocan los conductos de Wharton....abajo de la lengua...allí se forma el pozo. Salivary Pool.

My confidence is only a 3 because of lack of context. We usually want to know the type of report, purpose of the examination, patient's condition or symptoms.
Example sentence:

In order to maintain consistency in the type of sample collected, some researchers prefer to use the unstimulated, whole saliva that pools on the floor of the mouth, collected by the passive drool technique.

agree Rachel Fell : agree especially in view of your points about context

Hi Rachel, thank you. I do like the "salivary pool" suggestion also, but we just don't have enough information to tell exactly what we're talking about.

Salivary Orifice

One of the meanings of "pozo" is hole, which doesn't necessarily focus on the depth. "Orifice" is also a hole or an opening.
Example sentence:

Pressure on the body of the gland may lead to the extrusion of pus at the ORIFICE in patients with with parotitis.

Saliva: An emerging biofluid for early detection of diseases - NCBI
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov › NCBI › Literature › PubMed Central (PMC)
Saliva, a multi-constituent oral fluid, has high potential for the surveillance of general health and disease. To reach the above goal through saliva-based diagnostics, two prerequisites must be fulfilled: (1) discovering biomarker(s) for different diseases among the complicated components of saliva, and (2) advancing sensitivity and specificity of biomarker(s) through persistent development of technologies.

salivary reservoir or Saliva Reservoir

The most natural to me seems to be salivary reservoir and a quick search turns up several articles which make reference to both the suggested terms:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23107242

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3508105/

Salivary pool would be my second option, but it depends on your specific context.
