Arabic term

أسلوب الفيرمة

Arabic to English Law/Patents Law (general) Signature forgeries
This again occurs several times in the graphologist's expert report on forged signatures. Here is an example:

التوقيع موضوع الفحص ... وهو محرر بأسلوب الفيرمة المكونة من مقطعين

I wonder if "firma" is not some transliteration of a foreign word, either English or French or whatnot... Otherwise, can't find it in the dictionary nor through online sources... The document is from the United Arab Emirates or another Gulf region country (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc.)

Firma in general means something like on a solid ground
its origin nor really clear. however we can use it as an English term.
in addition, it seems not legal term!
Example sentence:

The sky driver was glad to be back on terre firma

Method of signing

Just a guess:

Maybe الفيرمة is a loanword from Italian "firma", which means "signature".

If that is the case, then أسلوب الفيرمة could possibly mean "method of signing" or "way of signing". The sentence would then read "and it's written in a way of signing that consists of two parts.."
