Thanks in advance!

Discussion

slothm Jun 21, 2016:
The error for a Koba step gage is meassured in micrometers.
Chances are that EM stands for µm.
slothm Jun 21, 2016:
Sorry , E is next to R.
Taña Dalglish Jun 21, 2016:
@ slothm I assume you mean "MPE" and not "MPR"? = Maximum Permissible Error. However, would you know by chance what "EM" mean? Can you explain "duplex accuracy" as all my research revealed nothing! Regards. Taña.
slothm Jun 20, 2016:
Sin duda,

MPR = Maximim Permisible Error.

Marta:

Can we have more context please? I am not sure about "duplex accuracy", nor "EM" without more information. Thanks.

Is "duplex accuracy" defined elsewhere in your document? I've found other references to "dual accuracy", so I don't understand "duplex".

KOBA-step® Gage Bar (KOBA-step is a registered TM). "Gage", although I would have said "gauge" (British English), so it is assumed your text is American English?

KOBA Ball Bar (although this is not used in your case)
one-dimensional, removeable test piece with spheroidally targets

scope of application:
- monitoring and traceability of large volume CMM's, e.g. horizontal arm and bridge type CMM
- checking of opto-tactile measurement systems like Lasertracker
Note from asker:
Duplex accuracy doesn't appear in any other part but these are the previous sentences. ***** - Due to technical reasons, the pre acceptance test will be made with Koba step gage. Pre acceptance with ball bar is not possible. Confirmation of the duplex accuracy MPE EM is only possible at the customer site after final installation.*****
