English term

Did your mom just come in and tap you out?

English to Polish Art/Literary Cinema, Film, TV, Drama
KIRKMAN: But I worry; now here's the thing. If it was white hair, no problem. I'd grow that out silky like, like Kenny Roger's beard. Grow it right out. Or I'd shave it into a Mohawk like Billy Idol. Punk-rock pussy, you know? But grey is a mean color and when it finally all grows in, grey is the color of barbed wire. And it sends a message, doesn't it? Right? Get outta here!

AUDIENCE: [laughter]

KIRKMAN: Get out, you young people! Stop trying to climb up on this. I'll cut you! No one's allowed in here any more! Don't you see? So I get nervous. I know guys don't care. They say, "We're just happy to be there" and that's very sweet. But I don't want you to have fun here and then get there and think, like, "Did your mom just come in and tap you out?"

IMO "get all the money that you can from someone" z odpowiedzi xrue może pasować, np. Mamusia przyszła i odebrała ci całą forsę? - zbieżne z definicją 1. Out of money; penniless.

tap out Tutaj http://pl.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=tapped out&pag... masz 8 znaczeń z różnych dziedzin. Możliwe, że któreś pasuje. Podejrzewam, że tylko autorka wie na pewno, które.

W tym kontekście "odklepanie/nokaut" chyba nie mają sensu.
Peer comment(s):

agree Cake : 'Nokaut' miałby sens gdyby pójść dalej i założyć, że po nokaucie mamusia niepostrzeżenie zajęła miejsce siwowłosej Jen
