English term
countermeasures
A list of equipment for which measures were taken
1. Filter countermeasure for shield room, Administration Building
2. Shield countermeasure for the rooftop air-conditioner exterior unit, Administration Building
In the above, should countermeasures be changed to measures?
Thank you for your help.

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

I also believe that 'countermeasure' is fine in point number 2 as they are used to counteract the weather (snow and wind):

4-4. Weather countermeasure
Prevention the Outdoor unit from wind and snow damages in cold or snowy areas, snow hood shown below is recommended
and helpful.
*Do not use a snow hood made of stainless steel, which may cause the unit to rust. If the use of a stainless snow hood is the
only option, contact the sales office before installing it.
• Snow hood
Countermeasure to snow and wind
In cold and/or snowy areas, sufficient countermeasures to wind and snow damages should be taken for operating unit in normal
and good condition in winter time. Surround the units with snow nets or fences to protect them from snow. Even in the other areas,
full consideration is required for installation of unit in order to prevent abnormal operations caused by wind or snow.
When rain and snow directly fall on unit in the case of air-conditioning operations in 10 or less degrees centigrade outdoor air
(50 or less degrees fahrenheit outdoor air)

I meant to type 'countermeasure' instead of the plural 'countermeasures' in my first post. I hope this doesn't cause any confusion.
