Eigentlich wäre es wörtlich:
"Kandidat-Montagesystem-Konfigurationen"
Das klingst aber zu monströs.
Man könnte also sagen:
"Kandidat-Konfigurationen für Montagesysteme"
oder
"Kandidat-Konfigurationen für das Montagesystem"

Die Verwendung von "Kandidat" im Sinne von "mögliche Variante" ist auch üblich.
Und "Montagesystem" macht hier auch mehr Sinn als "Systemkonfiguration"

: Mit Steffen... Ich finde nach wie vor, dass sich auch 'mögliche' oder 'infrage kommende' anbieten würde, denn letztendlich geht es um eine (von diversen) Konfigurationsoptionen.

: "Bau von Systemkonfigurationen" macht aber irgendwie keinen Sinn. Und es geht ja auch um Autos - um die Konfiguration des Montagesystems.
