When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

What is 'Comprehensive Income'
Comprehensive income is the change in a company's net assets from nonowner sources over a specified period of time. Comprehensive income is a statement of all income and expenses recognized during that period. The statement includes revenue, finance costs, tax expenses, discontinued operations, profit share and profit/loss.

Companies typically report comprehensive income in a separate statement from income resulting from owner changes in equity, but have the option of providing information in a single statement. Many firms shy away from the single statement approach because it mixes owner and nonowner activity, which can muddle the underlying information.

Movements in recognis/zed earnings from all outside sources

Lots of G/hits for a literal translation of 'movements inherent for, of and in the recognition of comprehensive income'.

There's a problem with the UK tax term of art of 'total income' of privare individuals vs. the non-standard term of comprehensive income and the macro-economic one of aggregate earnings.
Example sentence:

Se refieren a los incrementos o disminuciones durante un periodo, derivados de transacciones, otros eventos y circunstancias, provenientes de fuentes no vinculadas con las decisiones de los accionistas.

US: The way that the IRS individual income tax form (Form 1040) is structured, one first lists all sources of income on the front side of the form, adding these up to reach “total income.”
