Restoration
I'm translating the description of a church which includes the restoration work carried out down the centuries. Coming to recent times, it talks of: "preconsolidamento di tutte le strutture in elevazione tramite perforazioni armate", poi ancora "perforazioni di consolidamento ai pilastri"; " realizzazione di un’intercapedine lungo il lato nord dell’edificio e relative perforazioni armate lungo tutto il suo sviluppo; and finally "perforazioni di fondazione". I understand the technique involved and have found various descriptions in both Italian and English, but I haven't been able to find a simple translation of the actual term that I can use without having to include a lengthy description. Any ideas? Many thanks, Sarah.

insertion of reinforcement/rebars
You told us you knew what the technique was but forgot to tell us. I imagine they drill holes and fill them possibly with grout for the consolidamento and possibly with rebars (steel reinforcement for the "armate").
They are using the word "perforazioni" for the whole process of drilling and filling/inserting, just use the word insert for the same process.

reinforced bore (holes)
Jim's explanation seems to pretty much cover it but if you are looking for a specific way of saying perforazioni, consider bores. I think a perforation sounds too small and maybe implies it is pre-made, while bore or bore hole sounds like a deliberately drilled channel for introducing a consolidant or a reinforcing element.
