Here's the translation given:
¿Te tomaba mucho el volverte furioso(a)?
I'm not convinced by the verb tomar in this context. The translation sounds calque-ish to me. Is it okay, or is there a better way to say it?

| Hi John, the trick is, we can't be sure of the exact age of the kids, because it's a "generic" psych eval for minors, so they don't specify the age. I've been trying to find phrasings that would be as widely applicable as possible, which means I've generally been using a fairly low level of vocabulary and syntax. |
