English to Norwegian Medical Medical: Health Care Diabetes

Is there an equivalent term in Norwegian that is commonly used for diabetes? This is for a children's book about diabetes, and I am editing a back translation. The translator used "grunnleggende diabetesferdigheter", which, especially when translated back, is different enough from the source that I want to make sure there isn't something else. I also can't see that it's a commonly used term.
