Special Features
Flushing – Bringing liquid from either the pump discharge or an outside source into the seal chamber to cool the faces, keep fluid flowing in the area to prevent residue buildup or to keep pressure in the area to prevent the liquid from flashing at the seal faces. Flushing can also be helpful when applied to mechanical seals mounted behind the rotor.

: "flash" refers to "flash evaporation" or "evaporación subita" o "evaporación relámpago", creo.

/.../ In my answer I use "flash" as a verb, as well.

prevenir una evaporación subita / relámpago del líquido a los superficies de la camera de sellado
In reference to "flash" and not "flush".
This refers to "flash evaporation" rather than the "flash point".
"Flash" is a verb in English but I don't think a verb form exists in Spanish - "flash (evaporation)" is often translated as "evaporación subita" o "evaporación relámpago".
Most of the texts you'll find discuss "flash evaporation" as a technique used to extract a product. However in the present context it would be an undesired phenomenon as, for whatever reason, the source text requires that the liquid remains a liquid.

"Flash (or partial) evaporation is the partial vapor that occurs when a saturated liquid stream undergoes a reduction in pressure by passing through a throttling valve or other throttling device. This process is one of the simplest unit operations. If the throttling valve or device is located at the entry into a pressure vessel so that the flash evaporation occurs within the vessel, then the vessel is often referred to as a flash drum.[1][2]
If the saturated liquid is a single-component liquid (for example, liquid propane or liquid ammonia), a part of the liquid immediately "flashes" into vapor. Both the vapor and the residual liquid are cooled to the saturation temperature of the liquid at the reduced pressure. This is often referred to as "auto-refrigeration" and is the basis of most conventional vapor compression refrigeration systems.
If the saturated liquid is a multi-component liquid (for example, a mixture of propane, isobutane and normal butane), the flashed vapor is richer in the more volatile components than is the remaining liquid.
Uncontrolled flash evaporation can result in a boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion (BLEVE)."

This last sentence shows why it is relevant in the asker's context - here the aim is to maintain a sufficiently high pressure in order to prevent evaporation occurring, which could result in an explosion, when the liquid comes into contact with the surfaces of the seal chamber.

As I explained (and the Cranesfreak also explained) flash and flush are two very different things.
