One previous line of chemotherapy for advanced or metastatic disease was allowed.

Patients must have had measurable disease (Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors [RECIST] version 1.1) or bone disease *as their only site of disease*; Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) Performance Status of 0 or 1; and adequate blood counts and organ function.
Tumor tissue was required for patient participation.
