Hola a todos, estoy con una traducción de una parte de un código de conducta de una empresa de gráfica e impresiones. No tengo mucho contexto pero dice:
Complying with the Code is everyone’s responsibility.
It is always better to raise concerns and questions before taking an action that may violate the Code.
Tickets to concerts, sporting or other events
• Personal Interests: You start a business that provides similar services to those provided by Quad.
• Competing IP: You invent and market a product related to Quad’s business.

Competing IP lo veo en google como competing IP address. Siinceramente no me doy cuenta si sería lo correcto acá, alguna sugerencia??

Me parece, por la oración que le sigue, que IP hace referencia a "Intellectual Property". O sea, a la propiedad intelectual.
