gfrim Sep 16, 2015:
Check presentment and collection Although electronic funds transfer is now much more common, there are still very specific legal rules and definitions for check presentment and collection. Presentment is not necessarily the same as deposit. See, e.g., http://www.federalreserve.gov/boarddocs/supmanual/cch/efaa.p...

agree gfrim : The more common phrase in a legal document is "present the check for collection," though "submit is also correct.

agreed. Gfrim's turn of phrase is more common in such documents.
agree Simon Charass : I agree with the EXPLANATION, not with the posted answer.

Hebrew term (edited): להפקיד את ההמחאה לגביה

to deposit the check

A יוד is missing: לגבייה. The term לגבייה is not needed in English (and arguably is extraneous in the Hebrew); thus, "to deposit the check."
Note from asker:
thank you!
Peer comment(s):

neutral gfrim : Probably the right answer as a practical matter, but the other two answers use more common formal contract language. Technically, a deposit is not necessarily the same as presentation for collection.

Regardless of the appearance of formality, neither of the other two suggestions thus far appears more than a handful of times online.
neutral Emanuel Weisgras : If she is translating a contract, she should use the language which is common in contract drafting. The scarcity of the phrase appearing online is not indicative.
