Throughout our technical approach, we outline numerous instances where MCCAA staff and partners will coordinate with other USAID FTF and GCC projects to co-implement complementary activities. We also recognize that MCCAA will be but one mechanism of many that USAID, other donors, and the Mali government are prioritizing to support Mali Météo in Bamako and end users in vulnerable areas such as rural Mopti. MCCAA is unique in its vision to work not only from the top down (climate information services from Mali Météo to a sub-national level) or from the bottom up (improving adaptive practices of rural farmers to advance their livelihoods), but to understand needs of end users, improve the quality and flow of information, and support the integration of user needs and climate information into local level government planning
