Ultrasound-guided Thyroid Biopsy (FNA)
I have the results of ultrasound-guided biopsy of a thyroid nodule, written in table form. The doctor has circled the relevant abbreviations within the table.
Other headings in the table include the Bethesda classification, TIRADS classification, Echogenicity, Echo texture, Dimensions, Calcifications, Scintigraphy, Immunohistochemistry results and these posed no problem.
However, under the heading
"Resultats CP significatif: S", the options are as follows:
" BEN - SUS-MAL - S - PS - NS - ND"
The first two translate as "Benign - Suspicious for Malignancy", but can anyone help me with the last four abbreviations. My best guess so far is "significant - ?? - not significant - ??"
TIA!
