Not an auditor - an accountant The training in Austria is very rigorous and the qualification carries a prestigious cachet. It is an (AmE) certified or public = (BrE) chartered accountant. An auditor may be an unqualified number-cruncher, esp. back in the UK. Surely you, Phil, know this?

Is your text Austrian? In that case, 'WT' might stand for 'Wirtschaftstreuhänder' (i.e. 'Wirtschaftsprüfer' in 'German' German). See, for example, http://www.wt-kanzlei.at/honorargrundsatz.html and http://www.kwt.or.at/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-21/

Yes, it is an accountant. Note, though, that I had the 'quasi-official' IDW translation of German Wirtschaftsprüfer in mind - see http://www.idw.de/idw/portal/n589244/index.jsp
