This is in a document from Spain relating to granting authority to a member of staff to act on their behalf for business purposes in Spain. In the section describing what the Representative may do:
En nombre de la sociedad, iniciar, interponer, instar o defender, responder y comparecer en toda clase de acciones legales, pleitos o procedimientos judiciales en cualquiera de los tribunales del pais; presentar toda clase de recursos, incluso de apelación; someterse a conciliación y arbitraje; aceptar ***el traslado de las diligencias de esos procedimientos***; contratar abogados y asesores juridicos para representar a la Sociedad en cualquiera de esos procedimientos;

In E&W., accept ('the' is redundant) service of the proceedings - doubling as the papers and records - would be enough. So proceedings of those proceedings would be a tautology.
