A Statutory Declaration is a means of voiding (setting aside) the original proceedings. It is very important to be aware that you should apply for a statutory declaration within 21 days of becoming aware of the court fine. In a lot of cases, you will only become aware of the court fine when you receive either a Further Steps Notice from the court or more commonly, a Notice of Enforcement (NoE) or a personal visit from a bailiff representing Marston Group, Collectica Ltd, Excel Enforcement Ltd or Swift.
