French term

exemple d'auréole

French to English Tech/Engineering Printing & Publishing inkjet printer
The text is about inks for inkjet printers (excuse the lack of accents, it's a pdf):
Grace au glycerol, l'empreinte de la goutte sur le support est reguliere et exemple d'aureole.

Could this possibly be a typo for "exempte d'aureole"? You wouldn't want a halo around a printed character, would you?

Tony M Oct 26, 2014:
Scanno If this comes from a PDF, what's the betting it is an OCR scanno — t and l are easily confused if the cross-bar on the t isn't very marked.

Yes I agree Assuming your text is the patent available here <p>http://www.google.com/patents/WO2013190251A1?cl=en&hl=fr<... the content strongly suggests this is a typo. But check or flag it up with the client first of course.
Jennifer Levey Oct 26, 2014:
Yes ... ... it's very obviously a typo for 'exempte'
