I am translating a report from the Legal Services Department of XXX London Borough Children's Services about care proceedings for a child in foster care.
The report is to be sent to several individuals / bodies in Spain.
The report's author gives her job title as "Fee Earner".
Having looked at different and conflicting references online I am still confused!! I understand that a Fee Earner is a Paralegal with some qualifications - but not a fully-fledged solicitor. Am I correct?
Obviously they earn fees from clients (but how does this fit in context of local authority?).
Is there an equivalent in Spain?
