Spanish term

Plancha Electro

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) surgical notes
This is a surgical notes form (foja quirúrgica) from Argentina, and this term appears in the list of "Elementos de cirugía". If it helps any, "2v" (2 volts) is handwritten in after the term, and only one was used during surgery.

There is no period after "electro", so I don't know if it is an abbreviation, a brand name, or what.

I'm translating to American English.

Shot in the dark I wonder if they are talking about an Electrobisturí:

I'm trying to figure out how to withdraw this answer as I noticed that only one was used in surgery, and therefore must refer to a hot electro surgical probe. Sorry!
