zone propre (de fabrication)
this is about a "clean work area" or a "clean room", i.e. an area kept clean (dust-free etc...) as required for making electronics for example.

Dans ce cas, ma réponse ne convient pas ! Mais plutôt :
Il faudra maintenir une pression positive lors du nettoyage de la zone de travail vers les autres zones ....

Bonjour mchd. Je crois que c'est plus compliqué. Voici la définition: 1.1 Cleaning work area Work areas with high cleanliness requirement, such as workshops for storage, filling and inner packing of bare semi-products to be packed. |

lieu de travail dans la salle blanche
The term „positive pressure“ reminds me a clean room, where the atmospheric (over)pressure inhibits any entry and deposition of dirt and dust.
A cleanroom or clean room is an environment, typically used in manufacturing or scientific research, that has a low level of environmental pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles and chemical vapors.
:
Some cleanrooms are kept at a positive pressure so that if there are any leaks, air leaks out of the chamber instead of unfiltered air coming in.

• les salles en surpression par rapport à la pression atmosphérique pour éviter que divers polluants (poussières, bactéries...) puissent entrer que l'on retrouve principalement dans l'industrie pharmaceutique et électronique ;

"Pressurized room" can also be interpreted as as workbench.

Laboratory work
Utilized especially with the chemical and biological sciences. Surfaces are typically made of an inert material like slate. Most of these benches have water and fuel sources built in or near at hand.

As factory inspector I often have seen such pressurized workbenches.

A laboratory workbench includes a housing bounding a working space. The working space communicates with the exterior through a window bordering the working space on one of its sides thereof. A fan produces a flow of air in the working space and out the window. A protective screen is arranged on the housing in such a way that it can be moved. Specifically, the protective screen is mounted on the housing in the top area of the working space window in such a way that the protective screen can be moved between a hanging position at least partially covering the window, and a folded-up position. In the folded-up position, the protective screen projects into the housing in a substantially horizontal position plane. In one embodiment, an expansion screen is movable attached to the protective screen and has reach through openings formed there through.

Merci. Ce n'est pas tout à fait une salle blanche mais une "zone" qui doit avoir des caractéristiques telles qu'on se désinfecte les mains et qu'on met des protège-chaussures avant d'y pénétrer. |

Discussion
"higher pressure in the "cleaning work area" " is typical for clean rooms or biological workbenches. Cleaned rooms or working places are not pressurized.
interesting to know for future reference, but in this ST the only option that does add up is that it a clumsy translation from Chinese and it should be a "clean work area" i.e. a production area that must be kept clean (usually by filtering what goes in an keeping a higher air pressure than in other connected areas, usually no routine cleaning of any kind is done inside the area)
A l'INRA, on parle de :
- Nettoyage en place = NEP pour Cleaning-in-place
http://web.ges-sa.fr/files/GES_Economie_eau_IAA_2010.pdf
"Cleaning work area" would be normally understood as the action of cleaning a work area;
OTOH this definition, and the ST mentioning a higher pressure in the "cleaning work area" would rather imply it's a "clean work area", i.e an area that's kept clean, which is a standard for microchip factories, for example.
How the rest of the ST sounds? Like EN original or a translation?
