The Service Tax department has sent a show cause notice of Rs.
xxxxxx to the Company as per which the Company is liable to pay service tax for Intellectual property rights, Business auxiliary services and Technical inspection and certification services availed.
The Company has filed its reply to the show cause notice and has been legally advised that the show cause notice is grossly erroneous both on facts and in law.
Company has been legally advised that there would be no further liability on the company.
(.1) One landlord has filed legal case against the company because the lease deed was neither registered nor duly stamped under section 17 of the Indian Registration Act.
Legal case is pending with the high court, there is a possibility of demand of Rs.

(K) TPO has "raised an adverse order for AN 2009-10 by disallowing" (a) advertisement expenses stating that it is relating to brand creation and (b) royalty expenses stating that this is not at arm's length.
