Spanish term

conjugación programada

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping train braking system
This appears in the technical description of a braking system for a train (in Spain). BCU stands for braking control unit.

La BCU recibe las señales de estado del freno electrodinámico en los bogies motores y de la demanda de freno, y determina la presión a establecer en el bogie remolque. La BCU realiza *una conjugación programada* con la tracción y sustituye progresivamente el freno dinámico a medida que éste va disminuyendo, de acuerdo con una transición de la señal correspondiente

I closed this question because I found the answer in another text I'm doing for the same client. It's called "blending" or "brake blending".

I think "una conjugación" in this context means something along the lines of "working together" or "in combination with" and "programada" could be translated as "preset", so as possible translation could be, "the BCU works together with the traction as programmed/preset, to gradually..."

programme combined braking maybe? Now I'm thinking it might just be programmed combined braking. ¿Puede ser?
