Japanese term

ネダレス用合板

Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Is there a specific English term for this type of plywood?

ネダレス用合板留め、など様々に高い強度が求められる箇所用。

As I understand it, it is a type of strong plywood which does not require the use of floor beams? Is that right?

structural plywood (for use in joistless flooring)

ネダレス(剛床工法) means that joists are not used, and in this case 構造用合板, or structural plywood, is used since it is stronger. There are various grades and sizes, but it seems that a 24mm-28mm thickness is common. If you want to be on the literal side, you could use something like "plywood for use in joistless flooring."

particle flooring boards (for laying directly on beam-sleeper structure)

Your educated guess is correct IMHO.ネダstands for 根太 (sleepers), and those large modular particle boards replace the more elegant floor board system when low cost construction is preferable.
Since their appearance is not suitable as a final finish, they are usually tiled/lined over with some surface elements/ material.

My apologies. Your query refers to a sleeper<i.-free particle flooring board system. In this case, my suggestion is wrong.
Does your context refers to an existing substrate floor requiring tiling/lining? there are such large elements with a finer surface finish, but usually made of composite panels imitating traditional floor board or other modern patterns.

One more self-correction: "sleepers" is a suitable term for railway tracks.
In the case of flooring support the term used is 'joists'.
Example sentence:

Particleboard is used for different internal applications, which is dependant on the grading of the material.

Structural grade particleboard is primarily used for internal flooring but may be used for other load-bearing applications in dry conditions.

Note from asker:
Thank you. The text is about a type of screw and this sentence is telling us what it is primarily used for.
