José, I really tried to find the answer before asking the question but my doubt was about using "aspect or appearance". That´s why I opened the question here. Thanks for your answer!
José J. Martínez Mar 31, 2013:
In the Clinical Lab field we did call it aspect, precisely to get a more definite or fine tuned answer... I think that the asker should try to find an answer before really getting into a question... the Proz feature is for the really difficult questions...

I agree with you Joseph!
Further comment:
Actually after further search I found out that limpid is used more commonly than clear. But aspecto for sure is appearance
Joseph Tein Mar 31, 2013:
best of both worlds Personally, I would take part of each answer given below ... I think the best translation of "aspecto" is "appearance" and "límpido" is best translated as "clear" in this context.

neutral Joseph Tein : I really would prefer "clear" for "límpido" in Spanish ... but I do see it used often enough online that I think you can get by with it.

Thank you for your input, Joseph... 'clear' sounds more natural to me, too... I was focusing more on the 'aspecto del suero' part...

pls look up...
Peer comment(s):

disagree Joseph Tein : It would be better to provide an explanation and references for your answer. In any case, you can't translate "aspecto" as "aspect" ... it means "appearance" in English. ("Clear" is correct ... our colleague Cesar missed that, I think.)
