Spanish term

Rdto [pharma]

There's an existing KudoZ entry for this but it's a totally different context:

Is this possibly a typo and should be "rtdo" for "result"???
Thanks.

Rendimiento = Yield

Sobre todo porque se expresa como porcentaje.
Peer comment(s):

agree Neil Ashby : The problem is that the product must be very impure if the yield is greater than 100% - it's gained weight because it's not what it should be or as I say full of impurities.

Rendimiento

I do not specialise in chemistry, so I'm not 100% sure. However, I think 'rdto' has to mean rendimiento. In regard to the translation, I need to do more research.

Rendimiento: 15.4 g (53%)

Rendimiento = 64%.

Sorry, I was called away.

In chemistry, yield, also referred to as a reaction yield, is the amount of product obtained in a chemical reaction.[1] The absolute yield can be given as the weight in grams or in moles (molar yield). The fractional yield, relative yield, or percentage yield, which serve to measure the effectiveness of a synthetic procedure, are calculated by dividing the amount of the obtained product by the theoretical yield (the unit of measure for both must be the same):
