Sell Thru Grade Groups
Sell Thru grade groups are used only with the actual selling distribution method. Stores
with a similar turnover of units (how fast an item sold) can be grouped to form a sell thru
grade group. For each grade group, a sell thru lower limit is set. When a sell thru grade
group is applied, each store’s actual sell thru is compared to the sell thru lower limit of the
grade group to determine which grade the store falls into.
A sell thru grade group can be either directly linked to a merchandise group within the
main merchandise hierarchy or inherited. If the sell thru grade group is inherited, the
Inherits from field indicates the merchandise group from which the grade is inherited.
When no sell thru group is defined for the selected merchandise group but an inherited
sell thru group exists and is displayed, the inherited values can be overridden to create an
exception.
