Discussion

freekfluweel Dec 5, 2012:
Ausfall Pharmaabfall if this earlier question is related to this one, then most likely you should read: "Good" (not commodity). Waste of 7 kg !
Johannes Gleim Dec 5, 2012:
Yes Ja / Nein => Go / No-Go
Auswurfgegenkontrolle => ejection countercheck
Gutanteil => usable part, good part, finished part (or similar)

Note: terms not verified due to late hour, but that's the way I would express the meaning.

[Could we go for OK-goods/good goodies?] ;-)))
Trudy Peters Dec 4, 2012:
I think it just means that there are too many rejects, that the equipment is (r)ejecting too many blister packs (goods)
jccantrell Dec 4, 2012:
OK, perhaps .... it might be just the OPPOSITE of what I was saying. It may be putting too many rejects in the OK pile. In view of freekflu's website, it can have two paths: OK and Not OK. If it is shunting too many bad products into the OK path, then I would consider the Gutauswurfrate too high and would fiddle with the system.
freekfluweel Dec 4, 2012:
@uyuni hyphenation: point taken!

However, "too high and OK" goes both ways... why would it be bad if it spits out too many (numbers)? Only when the blistering cannot follow the numbers... (?) New blistering machine required/adjusted?
uyuni Dec 4, 2012:
For a better understanding @lirka & jccanterell How can an output which is considered 'good' or 'OK' be 'too (!) high/'zu (!) hoch'?

@freekfluweel:
Please be aware of the fact that there is a hyphen in 'Gut-Auswurf' in the text of your URL (as opposed to 'Gutauswurf' - not hyphenated...).

freekfluweel Dec 4, 2012:
would this be OK/not OK with you? http://www.biomation.de/sade-wiegesystem-sp220.php
jccantrell Dec 4, 2012:
I have seen this as ... OK/Not OK in terms of inspections and tests. I would venture to say that the system is rejecting too many packages that later turn out to be on the OK side. So, in my experience, Gut here means OK.
uyuni Dec 4, 2012:
Ich bin überzeugt, dass hier das Produktions*gut*, die 'Ware' gemeint ist.
*Commodity* also...

Ob der Terminus technicus hier 'ejection, emission, outflow, throw-out' oder etwas gänzlich Anderes ist, kann ich hier auf die Schnelle nicht beurteilen.

Lirka Dec 4, 2012:
it means 'good' as opposed to Schlecht-Auswurf

or good rejects for short.

I basically agree with lirka's comment. See this link on a blister inspection system (German and English):

neutral Johannes Gleim : Sorry, not rejection, but ejection! Only bad products are rejected. // (and ejecteted to the bad part tray). No rejection means acception (which can be ejected to the good parts tray). Doppelte Verneinung!

Sorry, I do not agree. The inspection system described in the link has to be optimized to minimize the rejection of good products.ection

Go-ejection

'gut' steht hier im Gegensatz zu 'schlecht'.
Bei Lehren würde man von Gut-/Schlecht-Lehren (Go/No-Go gauges) sprechen.

Quality failed batches

There is a reference (see below) to the machine mentioned in the discussion area, where this machine is promoted for use on failed batches - probably for retrieving the "good" ones out of the "bad" batch and minimizing losses due to failed batches. This would support the hypothesis that "Gutauswurf" means throwing pills on the OK pile (inappropriately so in the asker's case).
