Der Kunde hat dann doch noch folgende Erklärung geliefert: Co-location typically means that I am storing some hardware and data at a site owned and operated by a third party. The value is that I still own my equipment and manage my data but it is kept off-site (without my company having to own the physical site). The third party organization usually has several similar customers so they are able to spread the costs of floor space, power, and cooling across all the customers minimizing costs to each customer."
