German to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing report
This report is divided into many pages with more or less the same content. One of the columns is headed Entnahmeart", then a further column is headed "Einwaageschritte" and the box below specifies this to be "Entnahme". I always thought Einwaage to be net weight or initial weight, so what am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated ...

@Kathinka Ohne die Tabelle oder das Drumherum zu kennen, lässt sich schwer sagen, was die "Schritte" sind - spontan würde ich an einzelne Substanzen denken, die nacheinander untergemengt werden, aber es kann natürlich auch so etwas wie entnehmen - auf die Waage legen - kontrollieren - in den Topf werfen sein (banal ausgedrückt; ich bin leider kein Fachmann für Pharmaproduktion).

Dadurch wird die Anwendung einfacher, weil zum Beispiel die einzelnen Einwaageschritte wegfallen.

Danke Anne, aber wie sind die Schritte zu verstehen? Weighing steps, stages, phases? Und eines der "Einwaageschritte" ist das "Entnehmen" - also kann hier "sampling steps" gemeint sein?

Einwiegen oder Einwaage ...bedeutet, eine festgelegte (gewogene) Menge einer Komponente zuzugeben (in der Küche beispielsweise: 250 g Mehl in die Teigmischung einwiegen). Hilft dir das was?

This is a large doc with tables containing information for a pharmaceutical manufacturing report. The tables are divided into columns with different headings, e.g. "Entnahmeart", "Zielbehälter", "Einwaageschritte", etc. The box for information regarding "Einwaageschritte" is pre-filled with the word "Entnahme". Needless to say, I'm confused. Does this help at all? I have no further context I'm afraid ...
