See the link for a relevant search. Both "consequence" and "consequences" are also included as options in the search. I think the results (and my instinct on this one) favor "outcome". It's widely used in the medical field in my experience, and I wouldn't be surprised to learn it has influenced the use of "utfall" in Norwegian.
