English term

latch out

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping
Thank you in advance for your help. This is a doc about Switch Machine installation.
In the first paragraph, latch out is used as a verb, and in the second, as a noun.

During a run-through switch event, which displaces a switch point ¼” or more, the
independent proximity point detector ***latches out*** the normal and reverse indications
when proximity detection is lost, while the internal contacts of the device indicate the
mechanism is locked. The latch remains in place until the system is manually reset
following inspection of the switch points and the Switch Machine.

Under powered or hand operation, the device will unlock and open its internal contacts
prior to loss of proximity detection. The opposite is true for run-through events. If
disabling the switch control circuits is desired, an output is provided, which is deenergized
when the ***latch out*** is established
