Spanish term
Ab(a): (Ecuador)
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
Procedural law
This term is in the heading of a court ruling sent to the legal representative of one of the parties, and below the legal representative's name is this the term, "Ab(a)", which is followed by a colon and then a woman's name. The only thing that occurs to me is the word "abogada", but the legal representative is addressed only by his name, which would seem to be inconsistent since he is also an "abogado".
I have never seen this term before. Any ideas?
