I often hear TV presenters saying this when the people in the Control Room are too slow getting the clip ready.
If the clip is ready, they don't say anything and the clip starts running at exactly the right moment in the script.
But sometimes things are running very late: there might be a report just in from Syria over a satellite link and it's a real rush to get it ready for transmission.

I have heard this before in American programming. Perhaps it sounds more modern.
