French term

PS1

French to English Medical Medical (general)
I also have PS2 and PS3

They come at the very end of a French hospital discharge summary.

After the main bulk of text, and after the signatures of the doctors, there is a very brief summary provided of the diagnoses and procedures performed.

I then have:
PS1: transfusion de 1 CGR
PS2: BMR
PS3: Patient bénéficiant d'une ALD: oui? non?

Any ideas?

Leslie Marcus Nov 11, 2011:
Post-scriptum Given the position at the bottom of the page, after the signatures, is there any way the PS could simply be post-scriptum?

Un post-scriptum; nom masculin.

A postscript (abbreviated P.S.) is writing added after the main body of a letter. The term comes from the Latin, post scriptum, an expression meaning "written after". It's an afterword, an after
thought or an addendum ...

Sometimes, when additional points are made after the first postscript, abbreviations such as PPS (post-post-scriptum) and PPPS (post-post-post-scriptum and so on ad infinitum. Some use
ps 1, ps 2, etc.

Here's a little something to make you smile ... When I first saw
PS1 I thought it was PSI ... pounds per sqare inch! Stupid me!

agree Leslie Marcus : Did you see my entry in the discussion just after the question was asked? I tend to agree with you but do you have anything that backs this up?

Greetings Leslie. Thank you for your support. I just read your comments and, for that reason, I added a postscript (a post scriptum) after my original suggestion.

Prestation de service

I think this indicates a service provided, for example the blood transfusion, but I'm sorry, I don't have any reference material to back this up.
