Pumps and Drive motors There's some confusion here, which started with the Spanish text.

In general terms, a "pump" consists of casing, an impeller, an inlet and an outlet. the parameters of the pump are pressure (psi, kg/cm2, vacuum (mmHg) flow rate, volume and quantity (liters)

To make a pump work, you need a motor or drive, usually electric but it can also be a gas or a diesel engine, an hydraulic motor even air steam pressure and hand pump(bicycle)

Often the pump and the motor are housed together, or all one piece hence "The Pump"

I believe that the text is referring to the electrical parameters of the electric motor that drives the pump. volts, Amperage, RPM and number of poles of electric motor. These values are found on the nameplate of electric motors along with model, serial numbers

On the pump side, we'd find GPM, head pressure, suction lift
