Latin term

consilium disquisitioni instituendae ordinis

Latin to English Other Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs
from a degree certificate for the Universitas Libera Reformata

This is preceeded by L. S. and followed by iuris prudentiae. I know the meaning, ie the awarding body, but don't quite know how to phrase this.
Thanks in advance.

Context Can't provide any more context - I assume this is the awarding body for jurisprudence?

Peer comment(s):

disagree Luis Antonio de Larrauri : This can't be, because 'ordo' is masculine and 'instituendae' is feminine.

plan for starting an investigation on the order

The complete sentence would be "Plan for starting an investigation on the order of the jurisprudence", i.e., which rulings or jugments come before and which come after .
This order could be chronologic, but more probably would be an order of importance, of preference.

disquistionem instituere = inquirere = to investigate

The idea of "start an investigation", or even "plan for starting an investigation" can be seen in these sentences:

Ita vero disquisitionem instituere consilio optime con-
venit, ut in parte priore de sacrificulorum munere
in universum, in altera de singulis eorum officis
verba faciam.

cum id nondum ad liquidum sit perductum, de eo disquisitionem instituere consultum duxit.

(consultum ducere = to think, to plan)

Quamobrem si de concursus validitate haud ambigendum sit,
inutile videturdisquisitionem instituere super provisione Ecclesiae
parochialis in persona d. Iannucci, qui prae suo competitore
dignior, quoad scientiam et requisita apparet.
