German to English Law/Patents Law (general) application for amendment to commercial register (Austrian)
A letter from a law firm requesting that "Einschreiter XYZ" the person thus described [XYZ = full name]at the head of the letter be added to the commerical register as a "selbstaendig vertretungsbefugter Geschaeftsfuehrer"

intervening party

Just a guess (hence CL 1):

einschreiten = intervene
"intervening party" googles quite well in a legal context, but I have no way of knowing whether it fits your context. Hope it helps, though!
