Acacia nilotica also gum arabic tree, babul, Egyptian thorn, or prickly acacia, called thorn mimosa in Australia; lekkerruikpeul or scented thorn in South Africa) is a species of Acacia (wattle) native to Africa and the Indian subcontinent.
