English term

refrain the Parties from informal information

English to French Law/Patents Law (general)
The Parties believe that their respective products and/or services may be complementary and that it may be mutually beneficial to each Party if they jointly screen the relevant markets and customers in order to develop business and therefore pursue opportunities relating to scope of the Agreement (“Opportunities”). Each Party undertakes and agree to inform the other about the result of aforementioned activities, through the Coordination Committee (which shall not refrain the Parties from informal information) in a timely manner and under the good faith of the Parties

Peer comment(s):

neutral Tony M : Though it actually means 'should not be allowed to prevent...' — I think the emphasis is in a way the opposite of 'interdire'

yes, because of "SHALL NOT refrain"; maybe this would be better: "les parties restant cependant autorisés à échanger des informations informellement" ou "conservant cependant le droit d'échanger..."
