Readies

English Tech/Engineering Computers: Software Web sign up
Phase 1 is described as basic standalone web-based sign-up and will allow a subset of players to be redirected to a specific URL where they can create game accounts. Additional phases are discussed in Appendix D Potential Future Phases and listed below:
Phase 2 ‘Affiliate association and security’ ***readies*** the feature for wider exposure.
Phase 3 ‘Game Client Integration’ integrates web-based sign-up with the game client download/install/login.
Phase 4 ‘Future Integration’ adds deposit, additional security, an external API and refer-a-friend support.

What does "readies" mean here?

Thanks
