Could Flg. possibly stand for fluorogenic? I've seen that word used a lot in a gas chromatography context, and x-ray fluorescence is also mentioned in the source text. In this case, I'd render it fluorogenic probe (don't get any hits for "fluorogenic hole"). Any ideas?
