French term

s'engagent d'une même voix

French to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
From a press release on a new strategic partnership. I'm not sure whether "work together" will work or if it is a "sous-traduction..." Thanks!

Discussion

Emma Paulay Apr 13, 2010:
"Sous-traduction" IMO, it's only an under translation if there are other similar references to chorus, tune, harmony etc. in the text. If there aren't, then a "straighter" translation is fine.

are united in their commitment

The unity relates to their commitment rather than to working together; though they obviously are committed to working together.

are absolutely committed to working together in supporting their customers...

I'm sure there are many ways you can translate this, but the key ideas are commitment (s'engager) and togetherness (d'une même voix). Another option is "are united in their commitment to work together to support their customers...".
